Absolutely the most useless branch. Especially for business customers!!!!!! Walked in and listened to one of the tellers complaining about how hard and crappy his job was handling “millions of dollars every day but never seeing any of it” and how “people think it’s a good job but it’s not”. I know a lot of people who would love to have that job! With clients there! What??? Anyhow, I have THREE fairly large business accounts at Chase, and went in to move money, via checks, from one account to another. Was told it would be seamless. Stood in NO line while one teller helped a person VERY slowly, one stood and complained, and a third was doing paperwork and told me it’d be a wait. Then the drive through teller came to help me after she saw I was still standing there when she came by again (the only helpful person I’ve ever met there). Unfortunately, she came back after the deposit and said that Chase put a 48 hour hold on the money because it was a “newer account”. Literally checks from one Chase account to another to fund payroll. I asked why, she said she didn’t know. Fair enough. I asked deferentially to see someone to get the hold lifted and was told to take a seat. I sat for a decent while, one of the bankers came out (with clients in his cubicle) and said it’d be a bit, that he had a ways to go with his current clients. Okay again. Then the manager came out of his office, I think for coffee, saw me, MADE EYE CONTACT, stopped, and ducked back into his office without a word...very shifty... This has been my experience here EVERY time. We do a LOT of business with Chase and I don’t expect ultra-special care, but at least a hello would be nice. It is very close to our places of business, but I will just go to the branch on Harper or Garfield or the freaking MOON instead in the future. They always know what’s up and how to add/fix/change/etc. This is the ONLY branch where I consistently have had to, on MY mobile call my executive banker and put whatever idiot I am dealing with on the phone with him. MY phone, not even THEIR firs move!! My first time there they couldn’t find my first business account because the banker didn’t know how to look up the number I gave them, and kept misspelling our business name (have to put periods in the LLC) even after I wrote it down. Never seen the same person twice there either, it’s like a TERRIBLE place. I usually only leave positive reviews but this is like some sort of Stephen King novel place. Have avoided it for ages but I thought I’d go back since I was in a hurry....Today was ENOUGH. One of the parade of bankers there once asked me and two other partners what we liked to do and we talked about our interests, etc... shmoozing us because he couldn’t figure out how to add a signer to our account, a simple deal. We then asked him his interests and he said his one love was “banking” and then had to call someone to figure out what he was doing. What does that even mean? I love “banking”? Everyone there needs so learn to be helpful and human to their clients. I have always had to put them on the phone with my Chase executive banking rep. to get anything done. Call me crazy for trying it one last time, but this branch should be left derelict and abandoned, it is haunted by stupidity and unhelpfulness. And the customer service is abhorrent. Conclusion: As to today’s transaction, after waiting some more, I went outside and decided to call my rep. Five minutes, a-okay. BE WARNED!!!!
